GEORGIA’S DROUGHT IS OVER! OUTDOOR WATERING IS ALLOWED. Due to significant rainfall and improved water supplies, Georgia’s rivers and streams have rebounded. Effective June 10, 2009, the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) has issued a non-drought schedule for outdoor water use for the first time since June 2006. All outdoor watering is allowed on a odd/even schedule with no time conditions. Read more …
